Barbra Cook would ahve beeng reat because of those great kristin-esque high notes. She was Kristins role mdoel and she admits to try ot sing like her.

Ummm guys, Glinda isn't THAT high. True you need a soprano, but she only needs to sing a High C. There's hundreds of sopranos who can. Julie Andrews could sing a high C in her sleep when she was in her prime. Same with Barbara Cook and Rebecca Luker.

Also, Liza is actually an excellent actress. You don't need these super acting chops for Elpheba. Glinda's a bit harder to act, she has more of a circular journey. But Liza never reeally belted High F's. Her voice is low like her mothers. She's got a killer belt but I'd put her at a D at the highest.
