I REALLY did not like the new production.
Yeah Patti, Laura, and Boyd were great yadda yadda yadda. But the direction, I thought, was frankly boring. But then again look at Laurents, it's a wonder hes still alive.
Sam Mendes' production was SOOO much better. ALthough, i totally agree that Laura was MUCH MUCH better than Tammy, and I really liked boyd.
As far as the "Patti/Bernie" show down, I liked both of them for different reasons, I think Patti was on one end of the spectrum and Bernie was on the other. If only we could combine the two, we'd have the perfect rose..

Having seen both of them in the role, I loved Patti - and she won the Tony so there ya go.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
