Random, but how is the bathroom situation at the Jacobs theatre? I am taking my friend and his elderly mother to The Ferryman this weekend and wanted to know the bathroom situation for her before we went to the show. Thanks in advance!
IIRC, They are down a fairly long flight of stairs, but I believe that there is a handicapped bathroom house left at the top of those stairs. I'd get confirmation of that, but I believe that is the case.

That's correct. It's just the one accessible bathroom so a long line can form. I'd get there early if you think she will need to use that one, and to the extent possible, get there quickly in intermission (or just try to plan to get it all out before curtain...).
I was passing by the theater yesterday and stopped in to the box office to confirm. Yes, it's there and is sometimes locked, but the house manager is always very close by with the key. Also, be advised (in case you didn't know) that this is a very long play.
Thanks for all the help! Yes aware of the runtime which is why I wanted to help her. She's not handicapped (she's a speed demon with her cane" but it's good to know and prepare for. Thanks!

Before the show started, a woman sitting near me asked an usher for some details about the scene before the intermission, which he was able to give her without spoilers. She was the first out of her seat as the lights dimmed on that scene, heading for the accessible bathroom. But she was sitting on an aisle seat and so it was easy for her to get away.
P.S. In terms of planning ahead, take water with you. I took medication I’d been prescribed for the first time, and didn’t realise how bad it would dry my mouth out and went to the bar to get a bottle of water at intermission. Long queue at the bar, and the water was SIX dollars.
