This is fantastic news! Bernarda Alba is an incredible show and I'm glad these performances will be preserved forever.

Oh okay, its interesting, I always thought Bernarda Alba was written by a women, but nevermind. I can't wait to see the play done. And can't wait to get the CD. Does anyone have any idea of what the cover art might look like?

I hope it is better than the logo.
I think, even though this was what Piazza had...they should use the shadows of the women against the white wall.
OR - they should use the format of McMullan's artwork, but put the real cast in. I dunno.
At first I wasn't sure about having Pepe in the show. But I kind of saw it as the daughters imagining the servant to be Pepe...like they imagined the servants to be the horses...

Well, the horses and Pepe are manifestations of the girl's collective imagination, yeah. I don't know if I ever felt like I was experiencing this story in total through the girls eyes (although there is a segment where you get to look through the each of the girls' eyes in turn), I sort of felt that all the characters were manifestations of the imagination, because they are so metaphorical. The servants made an easy transition to represent other such auxillary characters for me.
I actually thought the horse bit was really neat. It was something some people took issue with.
I adore the Piazza cover art, I think it's such a pretty image.
