For me, there were three sartorial standouts (although I still have many more pictures to get through, so the list could increase).
Gina Torres - looked gorgeous!
Kerry Butler - I just plain loved that dress!
Andrea Martin - WOW.
I feel kinda bad about the Billy Elliot who had his t-shirt tucked into his trousers; NOT a good look, sweetie! XP
Quite a lot of black dresses this year; I give mad props to anyone who avoided that trend. Although I can excuse Laura Bell Bundy for probably wanting to get away from pink.
I thought Julie White looked FIERCE.
And Patti looked good, especially considering some past mistakes.
Laura Benanti looked like she could be at the Golden Globes or the SAGs. And that's a GOOD thing--too often, theatre folk looked horribly unkempt and disheveled at red carpet events.
Props go to Patti for not falling out of her gown for once
It's kind of difficult for a godess like Laura Benanti to look bad though, right? She's stunning.

Laura Benanti had the best accessory, her husband.
Also, Cheyenne was best dressed during the Xanadu performance.
Kerry Butler and Kelli O'Hara were gorgeous.
I can't quite make up my mind on Maria Tomei's; I think if it didn't have the belt, or had some sort of sash instead, I'd love it. But the belt puts it on the fence for me, and I can't decide which way it's going to go...
Laura Benanti and Kerry Butler. Hands down.
(Sidebar: Kudos to Patti looking really classy. She must have had help this year and thank goodness for that.)
I thought that Kristin Chenoweth and Laura Linney both looked stunning in their gowns.
I agree with Laura Benanti.

Laura did look quite stunning. (I believe that dress was designed by Mark Bauer. Not sure if that's the right spelling or not...)
Laura looked FABULOUS.
I also thought that Brooke Shields, Christine Baranski, and Deanna Dunagan looked wonderful.
I was actually a little surprised about how GOOD Patti looked. I love her to death, but her fashion choices at the Tonys usualy leave me concerned.
Laura Benanti looked absolutely gorgeous in that dress. When I was walking to the 50th street subway station last night, I passed by Ruby Foo's and saw Laura (holding her Tony Award) and Stephen Pasquale walk into the restaurant where she was greeting with the entire place cheering for her. I guess that's where the GYPSY afterparty was held. I am so happy for Laura, Boyd, and Patti...all three deserved their awards!!
Kerry Butler, Laura Benanti, Kristen Chenowith
laura benanti, absolutely!
brooke sheilds look great as well.
marissa tomei's dress was cute, it looked a lot like a prom dress. but i guess any of those dresses could have been.
and of course, the always lovely kelli o'!
but laura's dress was definitely my favorite.

I thought Laura Linney looked very serene and elegant. Laura Benanti looked fabulous as well, but her dress kind of reminded me of the one she wears in the final strip (with the one shoulder strap.) That made it a bit tacky for me.

Marissa Tomei's dress was much prettier in person - a warm peachy/hot pink color. It photographed red for some reason, which made it seem harsh.
Laura Benanti looked great. I thought Patti's dress was awful. And don't even get me started on Idina's hair!

LBB's dress was really pretty from the back, but then I saw the front, heh. I didn't like the neckline.
Laura Benanti's dress was really beautiful, and I also thought Mary-Louise Parker looked gorgeous.
Patti Lupone
Finally something that is flattering and is age appropriate. It looked more like a Fall dress than a Spring dress, but the neck line was not too deep. The hair could have been better though, but I'm not complaining.
I was looking at the arrival pictures and I'm adding Kate Shindle to the list.
