This is more a poll if you like, everybody all the time are saying certain elphies are better than others, well lets put that to rest, just put down an actress' name and a reason, thats it why there the best, thats it!

Whoa - confusing. Okay, for the third time...
IDINA MENZEL.
Now, Lami, go to your threads on the Off-topic and West End Boards, and click 'edit message', and change the thread titles to 'DELETE'.
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

re: Best Elphaba#5
Posted: 4/5/07 at 8:03amI only saw Ana Gasteyer as Elphaba. She was fantastic. I am sure Idina was excellent as well.

Idina Menzel - The only one I've seen, saw her in London and she amazed me totally, especially her rendition of 'No Good Deed'.
Kerry Ellis - Haven't seen her yet, but I'm hoping to within the summer or so. Heard and watched clips of her in WICKED and she rocks.
re: Best Elphaba#7
Posted: 4/5/07 at 8:08amShall I count that as one for Gasteyer and another for Menzel? I'll just edit them into the table above and I'll post the up-to-date table every now and then.

Posted: 4/5/07 at 8:11amI am not one to b*tch about anyone's threads - but you put this question on three threads (didn't check student thread - maybe it's there too)! Isn't once enough?
re: Best Elphaba#9
Posted: 4/5/07 at 8:15amThat's not Lamigon's fault, it's mine. I told her that it would do better on the Off-topic or Broadway board than on the West End Board. Preferably the Broadway Board. She did both.

Posted: 4/5/07 at 8:15amVery Sorry! Just realized that the 'shes' in the above message should be 'hes'. Sorry, Mr. Lamigon!

Posted: 4/5/07 at 8:54amJust to say ive listed this 3 times cause people in different parts of the world, i.e. broadway or west end, will have all seen different elphabas that is why!
re: Best Elphaba#16
Posted: 4/5/07 at 10:04amPredictably, Menzel is Winning, with 4 votes, from Ana Gasteyer on 3, and SJ Block and Julia Murney, each on 1.

re: Best Elphaba#19
Posted: 4/5/07 at 10:38amShoshana and Julia tie for the best. If I could give -1 to Idina and Eden, I would.

eden is like a copy of idina..i feel they are the same..both great
so all 3 that i've seen are Amazing
re: Best Elphaba#21
Posted: 4/5/07 at 10:48amIve seen Shoshana(7 times), Ana once, Stef J Block once, and Eden once, and I think that EDEN and SJB are tied for the best that I have seen... BUT from what i have heard on illegal sites that must not be names, VICTORIA and KRISTY are both unbelieveable.
