*Stephanie Block (who isn't in NY right now, but that's okay)
*Jennifer Laura Thompson (who has grown on me tremendously!)
*Eden Espinoza (didn't like Brooklyn, but LOVED her!)

JAYNE PATERSON!! hands down. Have you ever heard her sing? She was the final Fantine in Les Mis and the Jane Eyre understudy. She can belt with the best of em and has a gorgeous voice. Can't wait to see her in something new. :)

I said it earlier in the thread, but I'll say it again - Rachel York. Her first solo CD, "Let's Fall in Love," has just been released by Barnes and Noble, and it is brilliant. You can hear samples (which don't really do the songs justice) at the following link:
http://music.barnesandnoble.com/search/product.asp?userid=QX1O9lmAWe&EAN=603777800325&ITM=1
Rachel's vibrant interpretations of old standards will give you chills. Hers is a voice for the ages.
