Coming to NYC for the month of August and plan on seeing many Bway shows....but what are some of the BEST (your opinons, I know) off-Bway shows playing that I just shouldn't miss??

I recommend 'Altar Boyz'. Even if you're not Catholic, it's a hoot. If you are Catholic, it's a hoot-nad-a-half.

If you are in before the 6th and can get a ticket, see Spring Awakening. I was refusing to see Altar Boyz because I did not like the cast recording. I finally went to see it last month and I say, GO GO GO!!! Some of the most fun I have had at the theatre and an absolute riot!

I just saw a preview show of SHOUT! The Mod Musical. It was absolutely wonderful! I say see it now before it gets huge, because it was that good.

Altar Boyz is an absolute blast. It's so smart and witty and the songs are absolutely hilarious. It's ninety minutes of non stop fun. Definetely see it, you won't regret it.
