I forgot about Slava's Snowshow. I saw that a while before it hit New York. That was a fun show!
RentBoy, I spoke with Duncan Shiek after the final preview performance of Spring Awakening (He was there, of course) and he said they are looking into recording it. He will actually be here in Denver in 2 weeks and I am thinking of going to see him. It is an intimate venue so I hope to speak with him again. If I go, you know I am going to ask for an update on the recording of the show!

I liked Altar Boyz and some of the other shows folks are suggesting are certainly a lot of fun, but if you're in NYC before this ends on August 6th, it is really breakthrough stuff. Check out the reviews from the NY Times and others, and be aware that the Atlantic Theater, where Awakening is playing, offers $10 seats on the sides of the stage that can be reserved ahead of time by calling the Atlantic box office...it's powerful and moving, with a wonderful score and a really talented group of actors and if I had a key on my computer in the shape of a star, I'd give this four or five of them!
