Read it out loud. For a treat it is. If you can.
Huh?
'The production is under the direction of Arthur Laurents, the music man in the original book...'
I gave up after the first paragraph and a few glances after that.
It looks like someone wrote it in a different language and put it through a free translation site.
I couldn't get past the third paragraph.
millie, I was thinking the same thing.

That review made as much sense as Laurent's directorial changes did!
I wonder what the reviewer's native language is...
Also, I can't stop picturing Arthur Laurents as the Music Man...
Is this her? Lol.

I wonder if she originally wrote the review in German...

Yeah! That'll...teach..him?
This is part. My favorite is.
On the evening of the great crackling is part of a hurricane named Karen Olivo, whose Anita impact of the measure, if it is displayed. Olivo, an alum of "In The Heights", has an indelible personality, a galvanized insistence that Latin women on stage.
Did she like the show? I can't even tell
laestar87 hit the nail right on the head

Amazing.
That review has a ton of pull quotes for the outside of the Palace.

It's kind of obviously been run through a translator.
I especially liked how she referred to Larry Kert as "Tony's first Broadway."
A fitting review for a travesty of a revival! She mangled the english language, just like Laurents mangled the memory of Robbins.
Well that was just fantastic. And thank you Shmerg for the photo, that's more or less what the review had me picturing. Really though, that is one awful review. I happen to be in the minority of people who really loved the show, but still can't help but laugh at little mini-paragraphs like this gem: "Realism has never been so necessary for the success of "West Side Story". It is that the suspension of belief that we are in history. Because we are members of the group of exceptional dance moves"
Good to see you're coming around, ljay.
I was actually Googling "Arthur Laurents Larry Kert" to see if I could find some of the really awful things Arthur said about Larry after he died of AIDS.
This came up, and I tried to read the first few paragraphs two or three times, then just started laughing.

- Thanks! The book director of the ultra successful 1980 really helped me come around!
If Laurents is Harold Hill is Matt Marion?
