critics -- Helen Shawn, Jesse Green, Peter Marks, Maya Phillips
journalists who write stories/profiles/investigations -- Ashley Lee (LA Times - did the excellent Williamstown reporting), Michael Paulson (NYT - because of his beat, he has the most access), Caitlin Huston (Broadway Briefing), Rob Kendt's team at American Theatre Magazine, Lee Seymour (Forbes - sometimes has his head up his ass).
And though the following folks don't write about theatre regularly, it's always a treat when they do: Mark Harris, Dave Itzkoff, Jason Zinoman, Tatiana Siegel (broke the SR stories in THR), the legendary John Lahr. And Michael Riedel, when he chooses to do actual digging and doesn't let his conservatism get the best of him.
