Fess up, Roxy re: Best Worst Score EVER Did you like "Neat to Be a Newsboy"?

Praying Decca Broadway will put "Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope" on CD!

Nope, I hated that one & the one the old guy sings

I did like Fathers & Sons, Millwork & a slew of others but the newsboy number is as annoying as Tomorrow from Annie. I would like the little whippersnapper to throw his paper once too often & the owner of the house come out & beat him repeatedly with a polo mallet.

Much. Thanks!

For the record, I DID like Lynne Thigpen's cleaning woman song from that show.

Phantom of the Opera. The whole show is incredibly generic.

another vote for THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL. there's no definitive recording though, so every time I try to get someone to listen to it, the score doesn't come across as it did when I saw it. by the time they had, in my opinion, perfected it with 3.0 they had already recorded the OBC... sucks.

I'm soo siding with Seussical. It's terrible, but it's just. SO. GOOD.

CATS - how it managed to be the longest running show on Broadway (until Jan 06, that is) I'll never know.
