I just saw MR Thursday matinee 2/20 from Mezz B1 and it was great. The only problem was sitting in the mezzanine, Karen Olivo looked like her understudy (oh, gee, it WAS the understudy). Also, make sure you pay attention to the notes on the Ticketmaster seat selection page for vacation notices.
Pricing may be going down as the $259 was way too high for this show. I can say, I booked tickets late for my trip and there were a LOT of seats available all over when I booked the Thursday matinee and Olivo was not scheduled to be out or covered by someone else (at least not when I booked the ticket). I even got my favorite side aisle seat (1 or 2 seat). I think the pricing may be stabilizing based on actual interest and demand.

I was excited to see how they reworked the music and story, but what a lackluster take. The book is terribly written, and the actors have zero character development. No love story. We literally almost walked out. Sad thing is that this will probably run for a long time because it’s an audience pleaser."
Lol, I agree. I sat in row F of the mezz (which is a good seat but cuts off a chunk of the catwalk, btw) and really debated returning for the second act. It was worth it only because of "Bad Romance". By the time the excessively pointless "So Fresh, So Clean" started I realized I was having fun, but only because I had been playing the movie Diner in my head.
