I actually love CHICAGO... have seen it well over 100 times... I was just being silly!
Anyone recently? I wonder if I'd be okay around 4ish.
yeah i was wondering if its crazy early now with Jerry
I want to see this, but I don't really care if it is with Jerry or not. Is it front row then sides? Because I had always thought the general rush was just extreme side orchestra seats.
It's all extreme sides. There are 25 seats.
I tried it about an hour before the show while Samantha Harris was there, and they didn't have any. With my experience in extreme sides there, if they can offer you standing room, take them, and don't question if you can get something better because I didn't with TKTS, and it was an hour before the show.
My daughter and I tried it at a Saturday matinee about three weeks ago (after losing the Hair and ROA lotteries*), and they were sold out 90 minutes before curtain. They did offer standing room, which we declined. We wound up seeing Mary Stuart for $30 a ticket!
* ROA had 26 tickets, and there were 28 people there. We were the ONLY losers.
Has anyone done this lately?
I am planning to rush this sunday with a friend and I was wondering a good time to go.

What is the rush like nowadays? I am not coming until the end of October, so what have people's experience been like at that time period? I was thinking of rushing for the Sunday night show at the end of October. Would it be okay to go a couple hours before? Or would going in the morning be necessary? Thanks!
I tried rushing it on a Monday night in the beginning of May. I got to the box office at like 6:30 for an 8pm curtain and while they were out of rush tickets for that time, I got standing room seats and ended up moving to empty box seats (which the box office lady tried to sell me first, so I guess they sell standing room even if its not sold out).
A few weeks ago I got there at 9:30 and was first in line.

I rushed Chicago last week. Got there around 815/830 and was 3rd on line. Got 3rd row orchestra side for that evenings show.
