So now she can tell the Tony people to kiss her Touchess, and plant a tree for Israel at the same time.
That one is for the die hards.
There are suckas born every minute...I am unfortunately one who helped this dog of a show "recoup".
Unfortunately I can't recoup my hard earned cash. Carajo!

Nena.. don't be bitter. Causes wrinkles.
So true. But on the other hand I love me some Bette. Just didn't care for her in this.
She needs to tour concerts again. Enough with this broadway ****.
She actually needs to do another balls out revue on Broadway. Caesar's stage was wayyyyyyy to big for her and she couldn't werk it properly. She needs to werk it in her hometown on a Broadway stage.

So now Bette starts getting some of the back end. Good for her and welcome home!
You better believe she was getting plenty of the front end as well.
Would love to see her take the show to LA.
I loved it!

Her Las Vegas gig was like foreplay without intercourse. Just when it got going she got up and left.
I liked her Vegas show. Not as much as her tours. But I liked it. She holds Caesar's attendance record. She never once missed a show. And the staff and crew loved her.

Dame, I respect you a great deal, but when I saw her Vegas show, she was right next door to phoning it in. And she said after the show that she was too old to be working so hard, and it showed. I will say, in her defense, it was not the ideal venue in which to showcase her and that may well have been a frustration. I also understand that everyone involved in the production and at Caesar's adored her, as well they might.
In general I thought both the Bette and Cher show that was covering the showroom at the time were both on the tired side. But I do love Bette and enjoyed the show for what it was. There is nothing like when she puts on her own shows and tours. She has put on some of the best concerts I have ever seen.

Dame - I second that. For those who had not previously experienced "The Divine" the Las Vegas show probably would have amazed them. I can attest to that experience with Cher in the Las Vegas venue. Never saw Cher in concert prior to attending the show at Caesars. Enjoy it...but not as much as Bette!
I wish the kiss my brass tour would make its way out on DVD.
