Bianca Marroquin to join In The Heights this Summer?

According to ATC, she will play Daniela from June 12th - August 15th.

Just saw Bianca Marroquin in Chicago a couple of weeks ago... she is easily one of my favorite stage actresses... PERIOD.

Great great actress joining the cast, if it's true! And judging by her looks she fits perfectly the role of Daniela, she's always reminded me of Andrea Burns! Specially in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OrZZqc4-Pg

You know, I didn't really like her as Roxie the first time I saw her in Chicago on tour a few years ago. I caught her again a couple of weeks ago in the recent tour stop in Seattle, and I loved her Roxie this time. She really grew into the role.

I saw in her twitter feed that she just left the Chicago tour, but she didn't mention what's coming up for her yet. It would be good to have her in In The Heights (and maybe come to Seattle again for the tour of In The Heights in October?)

I saw her at North Shore Music Theater as Rose in Bye Bye Birdie before she went to Chicago and wish she could have just played Rose on Broadway!

Articles stated she would only be with the show until 8/15. But she performed last night for Jordin's first. Does anyone know when she really leaves?

She leaves Sept 5th. But she won't be in this weekend August 20-22. (As per her Twitter.)

She's doing a concert in Texas, I believe. She'll be back on Monday. Doreen Montalvo is going to be Daniela all weekend and she's hilarious, I don't think anyone will be disappointed (not to say that Bianca's not wonderful because she is!).

I would gladly take that ticket off your hands if I didn't have to work.

She actually played Roxie, but I could see her being pretty hilarious as Velma.
