We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".
And he's as nice as he is nice lookin'. I sometimes wonder if his being overlooked for a Tony nomination (for "The Goat, or ...") is the reason he hasn't come back to Broadway. He certainly deserved one. I would really love to see him in another play there some day.
It'll be interesting to see how much this play still resonates in this day and age. It was such a firebrand of controversy at the time. Not saying sexual harassment (or perceived harassment) isn't a problem anymore, but forward progress may blunt the impact.

I respectfully disagree. I saw this tonight and found her performance quite compelling. Bill Pullman is very good as well.
My guess: if you like Mamet, you will like this production, very much. If not, well...
Regarding its resonance, it certainly generated strong emotion this evening - including a very heated argument between a man and women two rows behind me after the play.
Neil Patel's set is simple and effective.
I don't know if this belongs on Broadway, but I'm glad I saw it.
