CIN THANK YOU - Video Clips#2700

I followed this board eversince we planned a trip to London for 2006. It certainly made us decide to go to Billy Elliot.
Last nights' performance made it clear it definately is the show to be at. Thanks to Liam for such a great performance. I will be here, checking reports photos etc. I can't really take part in the discussion too often, as I haven't seen the show yet!
A quick reply on a question from above:
"Also, just a quick question, what is James' role in the show now, as Liam said their are only 3 Billys, which means, Liam George and Leon."
I think Terry asked a question that has been asked so often when there were only 3. I just think Liam replied to the question without really thinking, there always were 3. Logically he replied: yes. So I think we should not make conlusions based on what he said yesterday.

I watched CIN all night last night apart from 7.30-8.00 because my dad wanted to watch Coronation Street. When I turned back liam had just finished. I was really angry at my dad as i thought i wouldn't be able to see it so thanks ever so much for putting on the clips.
I think he missed his entry because of the clapping so it wasn't his fault. He covered up fantasticly, if you had never seen the show or know the song you would never have known.
So well done Liam, you are a star!

Leon-Blue Peter award#2704
Posted: 11/19/05 at 7:53amCongratulations to Leon who was awarded his Blue Peter badge at the final curtain last night (Friday). I understand the film crew had been filming a day in the life of Leon yesterday ending with the award presentation. So tune in to Blue Peter (BBC) and see another Billy getting richly deserved recognition. At present I do not know if this will be on TV next week but it will be worth looking out for.Interestingly Leon performed with Brad as his Michael which makes me wonder if Joey will be switched to partner James.I understand that George will be used like James on an as needs basis until Christmas but that his 'official' leaving may still be December 3rd. Watch this space.

I said "I think"
It is likely to be george, just as it looks in Amazon.co.uk or the leaflet from the theatre.
I'm not really sure

Great job, Katsy.
If I'm not mistaken, it looks like you used the screen caps of Liam (made in Canada) taken from Craig's recording of CIT (made in South Africa). Now THAT is international cooperation.
I really like how all the photos blend. What program did you use? It's now my desktop BTW.

Hi Laura2,
I don't think you can assume George will be on the recordings just because he is on the CD cover. That's the same familiar picture they use on most of the promotional materials (brochure, buses, phone booths all around London). They will probably continue to use the picture long after George leaves the show.

George on Cover / Liam on the CD#2718

My thought exactly.
It might even be possible they will change the cover at the last moment.
But this is the image used from the start of the show. Just like with cats. (which has a dvd).
I hope they will record a few of the shows for dvd and keep them for a while and publish it sometime in the future. It would be a big seller for a future Christmas, I'm sure!

Wanted to say a very big thank you to Craig for capturing and uploading the CIN clip so quickly, and all the way from South Africa!
As people have said, with contributions from Canada as well, a truly international board this is and expanding so rapidly each day. If you miss it for a day, have to read back through so much to catch up !
Thanks again for the clip, and as others have said, Liam did fantastically well being thrown by the start but keeping it together as a true professional - and at only 13! - was absolutely brilliant, a true star.

Posted: 11/19/05 at 7:01pmHi Annie! And yes, you're right Brian2 - a huge thanks to Craig for capturing the clip of Liam on Children in Need. Even though I watched it live, it's such a treat to have that recording on my own pc - I've watched it about 20 times already.

Yep, so good to have it on the PC to watch over again. I missed the start on tv and came in half way through, so it was great to find it on here, but I guessed someone would be able to get it on fairly quickly.
I just love the fact that Liam was able to play the part as it is in the show, 'breaking out' into his own dance routine with such energy. And then at the end of it he was the usual sweet little guy that he is - the one you meet at ths stage door right after he comes off stage appearing totally unphased by the whole thing ! I bet his family were glowing with pride, as they should have been! Well done.

Hi Ashleigh,
Nice to see you on the board.... I too only registered to add some comments the other day after having been an 'observer' for a little while.
Does George manage to get back to his mainstream school then ?, I thought they were getting private tutoring while in the show ? Must be quite a lot of travelling back and forth all the time.
I hope you have told him about this message board then and he can get some time to read it too!, It would be good to know that the comments people leave here for the cast members actually reach them.

Oh dear,
Poor you... what a silly thing to do !
Yep it is easier for George living so much closer to London than the others so hope he can get into his GCSEs ok then.
Yes, do mention the board to him, as I said, be good to know he was able to read the comments people put.
Take care, hope the collar bone gets sorted out soon.
