I was just thinking, the fact he is 14 - doesn't that mean his voice is going to break very soon and won't there be problems with him growing up as their was with James? Surely they should have chosen someone who is 12/13 as they would have fewer problems with changing and growing up?

Due to the press conference, I have added the links you've found to the fansite below, and some more are on their way. Thank you for that information, and keep on digging up interesting information!

There is also a big picture of Leon and Joey on the site.

I've lurked on the message board for the last year or so and have only posted messages a couple of times but I had to post after the show this evening.

This was only my second time seeing the show having seen James Lomas a few days after opening night. I though the show at that time was wonderful, one of the best London had seen for many years. I was very inpressed with all the performers especially James and Hayden Gwynn.

I had the chance tonight to see Liam Mower, what an amazing dancer. The end of "Electricity" was incredible, the emotional high point of the show for me. When I saw James I found the "Swan Lake" arial ballet the emotional high point. Liam received a well earned standing ovation.

Whilst wainting for the show to being I started having a chat to the gentleman seated next to me who it turned out was Alan Roger (Great to meet you Alan, talk about loving this show!!)
I'll look out for you next time I go, hopfully I'll get to see George perform.

Very nice to meet you as well last night Jayar. I was in London unexpectedly and could not resist a 16th visit to the show which was sold out but I did get a super return. Nice to meet and chat with another thread member. As you rightly say Jayar Liam's 'electricity' was totally brilliant. It was the 5th time I had seen Liam perform and he gets better and better each time and his acting is so confident now with that surly teenage strop creeping into his portrayal of Billy which makes it so more believable. I wish the production team would get an updated photo of Liam as the one in the programme was probably taken when he was 11. I was talking to people on the London underground afterwards who were unsure whether they had seen Liam or George because the old photo is so out of date and unlike Liam now. All agreed what a superb evening they had had,how they wanted to come back and see the show again and how totally bowled over they were by Liam's amazing dancing.
Note also, the bloody camera failed again in the dress routine and Liam could not wind back the tape either. Props department please take note and rectify. I will happily donate a new camera if you have not got the cash!!
It was very nice to see the red roses thrown on the stage at the final cutain. I wonder how many Liam took home with him afterwards.

I believe the red roses were actually for a couple of the girls as it was their final performance last night.

Hi All,

Is anyone able to provide us with a list of the names of the ballet girls who are leaving the show this week?

I think it would be nice if they got a special mention here.

Heya Guys!

Found this in the paper (Daily Mail UK) in the " Wicked Whispers" section and thought you would all be interested:

Billy Elliot director Stephen Daldry has hit a stumbling block in his plans to take the hit musical to Broadway. He tells me: The only thing stopping us is the problem with schools. Do you take English Boys away from their GCSE's Or do you set up a school over there and train the American Lads to seapk with an English accent? Thats the only thing standing in the way right now."

Hi everyone.

I've just caught up on all your posts and messages on this thread about Billy Elliot while Cruising round the Med... I know it's a hard life :o)

Anyway, this will be the last time I get to write a message on here for a number of days so thought I would say one final good luck and best wishes for the future to James and Ash, and to any of you who are going on Saturday, have a brilliant time. Don't forget to take some photos and post them!

Anyone that is seeing Leon and Joey on Monday, I would love to hear your comments... till the next time.

This might have been asked before, but

Who will be seeing Ashley and James' last performance on Saturday?

Who will attend the premiere performance of Joey and Leon on Monday?

Also, what will you do to highlight these special performances?

There are some great shots of Leon and Joey below and a picture of Leon's parents, Mick and Joy Cooke, as well as a picture of Joey's parents, Nikki and Mick Phillips.

On the assumption that this might be Liam or George's last performance I tried to get a ticket for 3rd (evening) to find (like James and Ash tomorrow)that it is a gala performance ie an invited audience. No problems getting a ticket for the matinee on that day.
This does not seem particularly fair on ordinary punters or devoted fans like those who contribute to this thread and want to see the final performance .
I have asked West End Pro for any observations.

Alan, do you mean the whole audience is an invited one or just the front rows that are normally available as day tickets are being used because of family and friends? Although it took me a while I found tickets available for both Saturday 17th evening and December 3rd evening (though the latter I have had confirmation and a guarantee of a ticket but no seat allocation yet December 3rd.).

BillyFan2, have you not yet been allocated a seat for tomorrow nights performance...or is that just for the December 3rd performance?

BillyFan2 The box office told me it was a gala show and they were not selling tickets for the show. Love to know how you got yours because I cannot find a ticket agency on the web selling for that evening.Must go, as going to the show this evening with a friend 17th time!!

Have my seat allocation for tomorrows. Crap seat but all I could get (row S stalls). I don't have the allocation for the 3rd December. The agency says I am guaranteed a seat but won't send it out till 2 weeks before the event. Just going to have to trust to luck that that one works out as I'm down for a few days that week and will be seeing the shows a few times.

The show for tomorrow night I posted a link to a site that was still selling tickets a couple of weeks back.

Well, to be honest I just want to be there to wish James and Ashley good luck. Where I sit isn't important. I'd have stood at the back and sold Ice Creams just to be there.
