Firstly, please stop calling me Liam, I am not Liam just a fan. It is very nice for so many people to come to the show but more than 3 times will ruin the 'magic' of it. I think that it will be playing for a long time to come.

Hi Liam, sorry that i am a bit late but welcome to the thread. Hope you enjoy every moment you can! Just wanted to ask if there are any other members of the cast that know and will post on this thread?
Also, in an earlier post you mentioned the cast recording will be coming out for Christmas! Do you know what sort of things will be on it and who or are you not allowed to say. I understand if it has to be kept a secret. Well done but its a shame i still havent got the chance to see you!

Liam I have seen the how 19 times and I can assure you that it has not lost its magic for me. I know people who have been many more times than that. It is really common for people to get hooked on a West end show if it appeals to them. Each time there is something different that grabs the attention or has not been appreciated before or a new interpretation by an understudy for example. Mr Braithwaite this week has been sensational for example and added a totally new dimension for me to the interrelationship between his and Mrs Wilkinson's character.I have seen your Billy 5 times and each time there has been something new or magical so that performances stand out as yours did on Septmber 13th and George's did yesterday. All the while that lasts the magic will not fade for me rest assured.

I saw the show with Liam one time in August. I'm going in november again to London. Then I go three times to Billy Elliot. Hopefully I see Liam again. This is for me the last chance to see him before he stops with Billy Elliot.
I'm living in Holland so it's not possible for me to go every month to London.

Nice message'Be inspired'. Fills in very well the gaps from our previous reports. I noticed all those little bits as well.Very moving. Putting it all together we could have written a book about last night.I have been told that folk from the production team see these threads so maybe they will draw these sentiments to James and Ashley's attention so that they can 'be inspired'as they move on with their lives and careers.
It would be good to know that the boys & ballet girls, get to hear how much they are appreciated so I do hope that anyone involved in the production reading these posts will pass on all our feelings and best wishes to those who have left the cast and those who will continue for another couple of months.
I am still away on holiday but have just caught up on all the news!
Well, I take it from everyone's messages and posts who were lucky enough to see the show last night that it was amazing and something you will all remember for years to come, not only for the fans but also those cast members who left last night and those staying on.
Break a leg for tomorrow night Leon and Joey...

This show is an absolute phenomenon. Stunning Direction and Choreography with the power and grit necessary to move even the most hardened of theatre critics. I am a musical fanatic and run my own semi - professional theatre company and this is easily the best show I have ever seen. I have seen it 8 times (Liam 6, James and George just 1 each) going back to seeing it twice in the first week of previews. I think the development of the show has been immense but appear to be in the minority when I say I certainly do NOT miss "Goodbye Grandma" from the show. Solidarity and Expressing Yourself are two of the greatest musical moments ive ever seen. Not sure when time number 9 will be but hopefully not too far away!
Its great to know that they get everyones messages.
It sounds from comments that the next cast change will be in December, does anyone know who is leaving and when their last night might be??
everyones contracts expire on 3rd december i think. some people will probably have them renewed but i dont know who will or wont. im pretty sure that liam and george will be leaving then though.
thats wot i heard anyway..

Hi - there has been so much written about last night it is difficult to find anything else to add. You would have to have had a heart of stone not to shed a few tears at the end of last nights outstanding performance. Well done to all concerned and good luck to Ashley and James. On a different topic has anyone ever written to the cast and received a reply?

What parts of Billy Elliot The Musical do you all like best and why?
To answer the question about letters - maybe.
hey, thats a really hard question as the whole show is amzing. For me everything is great but the main thing that sticks in my head is the "Angry Dance". Although i have been twice i have only seen George, but i have heard that most people think that this is one of Georges bests bits! He has so much energy and he shows all of his anger through dance which is one of the main themes i believe. Expressing the way you feel through dance. Well thats how i feel when i dance and its a great feeling! It would be great to hear everyone elses favourite bits! LM what is your favourite part?

I love it all but highlights are
Billy & his mum 'the letter'- the interaction between mother and son is so real, makes me think of how my 6 year old looks at me intently and fiddles with my hair on those rare moments that he is listening to me !
individuality because its so funny and Billy just accepts Michaels dressing up and joins in
the aerial dance, just beautiful !
Dads folk song - shows his sensitive side
The miners christmas party because I can remember the miners strike and this just captures the comaradary and feeling so well
electricity - I have enjoyed all 3 versions of this, it demonstrates the passion Billy his for his dancing brilliantly
I could go on and on and on, its all just GREAT !
