Billy & his mum 'the letter'- the interaction between mother and son is so real, makes me think of how my 6 year old looks at me intently and fiddles with my hair on those rare moments that he is listening to me !
individuality because its so funny and Billy just accepts Michaels dressing up and joins in
the aerial dance, just beautiful ! Dads folk song - shows his sensitive side The miners christmas party because I can remember the miners strike and this just captures the comaradary and feeling so well electricity - I have enjoyed all 3 versions of this, it demonstrates the passion Billy his for his dancing brilliantly
I could go on and on and on, its all just GREAT !

My favourite parts in the Musical are - one is 'Express yourself' where I think Liam is excellent - it is so funny and the other is the part with Billy's mother - it is very sad but it gives Billy hope. George is excellent in the angry scene and James does an amazing back flip (or so I am told). Updated On: 10/30/05 at 05:10 PM
i agree that Express Yourself is a great number although i bet it took ages to get the cheorography just perfect! Also, just like you said The Letter is very sad. I thought it was a great idea to have the reply towards the end! O everything was excellent! GMFan!!X

Hi guys! My name is Kevin, I've only posted once before, but I saw the show back in late July, and then 3 times after that, lol, while I was on vacation in London! I'm from the US, and will hopefully be back in the UK sooner than later! I wanna do a school semester over there. I have so many favorite parts I don't know where to begin! I love Solidarity, Angry Dance, The Letter, Swan Lake dance, and Electricity. I mean wow, I'm not the biggest theatre fan, but I was totally blown away by this entire production. It was the best thing I've ever seen! I saw Liam twice, George once, and James once! Speaking of which, congrats on an amazing run! I had the awsome luck of meeting Liam too, I attached a picture I took with him below. It was really nice meeting you Liam! Please! Please! Stay on for another year so I can see you perform again! lol. Updated On: 9/18/05 at 05:45 PM
i think BeInspired has said it all your right its so hard to chhose and every moment of the show makes it magical! Also the special touches that the cast include of their personality makes it their own, thats why each show is different and each time you go and see it, you notice just how hard the boys are working since each time it gets better! Im the same age as George and i dont think i would be able to cope with it all! He just has so much energy! GMFan!! X
LM is not liam mower! as if he would post on here, are you mad? Also, anyone who posts pictures taken illegally from the auditorium is totally disrespecting the privacy of those children.
I am not happy being labelled as a freak. I have asked West End Pro to check out the authenticity of LMs posts as he sees Liam most days and can check this out. I have serious reservations that the posts are from Liam and feel that we have been taken for a ride on this one. Alan Updated On: 9/19/05 at 11:28 AM
Well there is only one way to find out and thats to ask Liam himself when someone meets him at the stage door. But if someone is pretending to be him I think that is really pathetic. Also one question, I know this is random, but why do the boys have to dye their hair blonde?
Allow me to say this. I never said that I am Liam Mower if you check my postings. Please do not get me mixed up with Liam - I use L.M as my 'identity' because I am a fan - no more.

Is Leon going to dye his hair then ? it would be a shame as it is a lovely colour. Jamie Bells hair in the film was brown/red. James and Liam certainly don't have blonde hair why does it matter?

i know i for one am beyond proud of my little ballet girl, and of all of them and james ond of course ashley! saw leon the other day and i think they have made his hair lighter but not blonde. Good luck for your first show guys, yeah the cast do read this but if they were to post they definatly wouldnt do it under their name! that would just be silly wouldnt it guys love to everyone x
Who is this imposter that writes things on peoples behalf! obviously somebody that wishes he knew more! tough! Liam will find this remark about james most upsetting. James is incredable! As all the loyal fans know. What a terrible thing to say just as he finishes. i hope you read your PM!
As for replying to fan mail, yes it is screened. That does not stop them replying! It does often take time as they get such a lot.
My intention was not to insult him, I personally did not think that he was the best Billy - although he was excellent, there is no doubt about that.

I thought you might appreciate my review of last nights show.
As with Saturday evening, Stephen Daldry took to the stage ahead of the show to firstly welcome everyone to the theatre, and then to tell us that whilst every night is like a first night in the theatre, tonight was indeed such an occasion for a number of the children including Joey and Leon. He then kindly requested that as the children would have enough to think about, would everyone please ensure that their mobile phones were switched off.
The atmosphere and sense of anticipation in the theatre was electric!
There was, however, no need for concern. Both Leon and Joey along with all of the new kids turned in performances worthy of more seasoned performers in the show, and if there were any nerves they were quickly dispelled.
All of us here have heard a great deal about Leon over the last few months, and we are all well aware that he has been waiting patiently in the wings, for as long as the show has been running, for his chance to shine, and last night he made the most of his opportunity and took the spotlight.
Words alone cannot describe how good Leon is in the role. He gave both a confident and assured performance, and like Liam, George, and James has managed to add his own unique stamp on the role. I'm sure, that, as Leon grows in the role he will further define Billy, and will win the hearts and minds of all who see him.
Like Liam, Leon’s performance is more heavily ballet influenced, based on his own dance strengths and he dances beautifully. Indeed his “Electricity” dance break follows the same the orchestral arrangement as Liam’s.
As for Joey Phillips, all I can say is WOW! This kid is a natural. The role of Michael must be a difficult one for any kid to play, but Joey, like Ryan, Brad and Ashley commands the role brilliantly, and for the brief time he is in the limelight manages to steal the show. Like the other pairings the two boys work brilliantly together.
The show is in very safe hands with these kids and Mr Daldry & co should be saluted for once again finding such remarkable and talented individuals.
