Is there a reason you keep creating threads about Birthday Candles, instead of using one of the two that you made yesterday?

Why do you have time to question me, but you don't have time or knowledge to answer my question?
Once again, how would we know if it's too close for a show that doesn't start until March 2022? Have you ever been to the American Airlines? Where did you sit and could you see then?

Too close for WHAT?
The show's not in rehearsal yet -- what sort of answers are you expecting?

Perhaps they've never been to the venue, JSquared. I know it's really difficult for you to bite your tongue and resist unnecessary snarky remarks, so I'll handle this for you.
Hi, Sarge3 - As some have rudely stated, the show isn't in rehearsals yet and no one knows much about the set. But I'd say you should be fine in this venue, unless of course it's a multi-level set. I think you'd be safer to go back to D or E. But if it's a one-level set, you'd be fine in C.

Sometimes the set can be a deciding factor in choosing your seat location. We have no idea what the set will look like for this play.

Sorry for blank reply, accidental. I understand the set can be a factor, but perhaps this person just doesn't know the venue. That's why I offered my reply.

These are perfect. This is Orchestra Center, Row C for ALL MY SONS.

It depends. I saw Old Times there and they used a turntable which raised the stage about a foot. Being in the front row, I wished I was a few rows back. If the stage is normal, row c is probably good.
Andre Braugher out, John Earl Jelks in.

They might want to change the header of the story...

Oddly enough, an interview from September 2020--covered on this very site--made it sound like he dropped out even before the Broadway shutdown.

"In February, Braugher was rehearsing with Debra Messing for the new Noah Haidle play “Birthday Candles,” which would have marked his first time on a Broadway stage. But as concerns over the spread of the coronavirus grew, he consulted with his wife, actor Ami Brabson, and they decided he shouldn’t continue.
“It was clear by that time that guys like me have bull’s-eyes on our back,” he says. “I’m 58, I’m overweight, I have high blood pressure, so it was just time to bow out. Which is unfortunate, but the wisdom of that became pretty apparent a couple of weeks later, when all of New York officially shut down.” (“Birthday Candles,” which had been scheduled to run this past spring, has been pushed to next year.)"

Love Braugher, sad he is not doing the play anymore but hopefully he shows up on Broadway some day soon
