I feel like it's time to BUMP this one up again.


Mainly because I just finished watching School DAZE and realized how great of a film it is. I know, I know, it has some rough spots. But it was a truly moving expereince during it's time.

I feel like with some re-writes it could make an excellent broadway musical.

Going to a musical late in its run is like going to a prostitute late in her shift.

Waiting to Exhale would be fantastic with the right cast, songs, and book.. If only! But who would be the leads?

I always though "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner" would make a great stage musical.

I'd want them to keep the retro-60's feel to the set/music.

The character of Tillie has all sorts of possibilities. .

This seems like the most reasonable cast, but there would need to be a headliner to draw in the crowds. So the role of Gloria would be made bigger to accomadate miss Jennifer Hudson in her broadway debut.

"The Women of Brewster Place" was recently adapted into a musical in Atlanta and it'll be playing in D.C. soon.
