Get Michael Mayer to direct, get Gerard Way to write the book (and possibly new songs), and I think it could be a huge success. You have a built-in fan base.

I think OP is talking about a musical based on the My Chemical Romance album, not an all-black revival of the musical Parade.

Jokes aside, this could definitely work on stage. There's already a plot of sorts, all that's left is to fill in the blanks.
