Posted: 3/8/05 at 2:32pmAnyone gonna take advantage of a snowy situation and stand in line for any of the shows/lotteries tonight? Would love to hear about the turnout in a snowy storm like this...

Anybody know what to do about tickets we have for DRS tonight if we can't get into the city? I don't have a number for the Imperial...is they anyway I can exchange backdated tickets? Or has the number for the Imperial?

Posted: 3/8/05 at 3:23pmI think I'm going to stop by the Gershwin anyway. I personally wouldn't mind having (what is it, 1st row?) tickets.

Posted: 3/8/05 at 3:27pma few thursdays ago, it was snowing and VERY cold, and there were still alot of people at the gershwin wicked lottery. Everyone thought what i was thinking..oh well.

i really, really need to live in nyc. the whole idea of having to drive to the train station and hop a train to get in just sucks.

Posted: 3/8/05 at 5:02pmmight i add that you can stand under the gershwin and be perfectly protected from the elements.

Posted: 3/8/05 at 5:03pmDRS is nice and they let you stand inside until the drawing.

TheGaIsSilent-You just mapped out my night! If you can't go to a show, there's no better combo than Gilmore Girls and The Amazing Race. Haha.
And not only is it nice that you can stay in the Imperial lobby while you wait but the view of the lottery boy is quite nice as well! I thought he was in the ensemble cuz he wears a tux but I guess it ties into the show. Nice accent, too! Very nice!

Posted: 3/8/05 at 6:29pmMy classes were cancelled at 2 pm. today! :) I got out of a midterm and a test! No better way to celebrate that than to go see a show....I'm thinking about 700 Sundays or DRS. **crosses fingers** hope everybody has a fun night!!

Posted: 3/9/05 at 8:42amdid anyone get tickets? I went right after the snow ended and got rush tix for Altar Boyz. Not the most deep, profound show, but a fun night nonetheless!

Posted: 3/9/05 at 8:49amFrom what I could tell, there were at least 40-50 people for the Avenue Q lottery, maybe more. I saw DRS (had tickets and made it in)---it was great! Norbert gives a winning, confident performance. He and Lithgow had great chemistry and the entire cast was first-rate.

Posted: 3/9/05 at 1:47pmI went to try and see if we could get Spelling Bee tickets. i figured there wouldn't be so many people on the cancellation line because of the whether. I was wrong, there were quite a few people so we gave up. We ended up seeing Dame Edna (only show that my friend and I had both not seen) and it was FUNNY
