Another one I wanted to see. Very sad.
Is there a list of shows and their pending closing dates anywhere? Seems like there is a lot more than usual.
EDIT: Google is my friend.

I really haven't been upset about any of the recent show closings that have been announced, but i'm heartbroken about this one. I am really going to miss Boeing Boeing.
Awww, sad. My theatre class was supposed to go in March. Now, I wasn't going to be going anyway because I'm a poor little churchmouse, but it's still sad, and I feel horrible for my theatre teacher as well as for the cast.
My friend was supposed to see ATOTC last weekend (her parents got her tickets for her birthday), and since it had closed, she got a refund that allowed her to see Equus. It was definitely not her cup of tea, but at least she got to see a Broadway show. Hopefully, my theatre class will get some kind of refund, too.
I loved it. I will be sad to see it go.
All the funny shows I love are closing:
RIP Boeing Boeing
Hairspray
Forbidden Broadway
Legally Blonde (Already closed, sigh it was one of my hidden pleasures)
XANADU (Went six times. I loved it!)
YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN (I went once but liked it a lot)
And the funny show that I personally love best, Spamalot.
I guess an economic recession is no time for laughs. There goes Michael Ball's theory about comedic shows being more popular in stressful times.
I loved Spamalot also. I only saw it once and from nosebleed seats. Does anyone know if they have an elevator in the theater.
I want to see it one more time. I want one of the bunny puppets if anyone has me on their hanukkah lists.
Awww, your pretty face avatar is back!
Ha, I got the "Not Dead Yet" t-shirt and the coconuts. I've seen it twice, but I Have to say, I like it better from the nosebleed section than the orchestra seats. I don't know why; maybe because it's more of a spectacle show. (Though King Arthur's reactions were a lot more visible and a lot funnier up close.)
I doubt there is an elevator in the Shubert. The last time I was there for Spamalot I do not remember there being one.

I loveed Spamalot. Saw it twice In Chicago (Once with OBC) and gotr to meet Tim Curry.
Back to subject, I wish I could come to NY to see this show!
Schmerg: they will indeed get their money back...without question...all they need to do is pick another show.

Wow. A lot of shows closing on January 4th.
I loved this show when I saw it back in the summer. Wishing the cast and crew the best with the rest of its run!
While I'm sad to see it go, I really can't imagine any replacement cast could do it the justice that the current one is. So I'm glad they've decided to leave on a high note, as the producers said. Can't wait to see it one last time. Wishing everyone the best of luck in everything they do!
That's really too bad. I loved the show.
Well, I must get over to the Longacre Theatre soon! I still haven't seen this.
HURRY UP, MAN!! Run for Missi Pyle, if nothing else.
