So for Christmas I have tickets for three shows. Rock of Ages, War Horse, and Bonnie and Clyde. I was just wondering if Bonnie and Clyde is okay for me. I saw Next to Normal so cursing is not an issue. But I have previously asked about nudity for Seminar and I wondering the same thing. Is there any nudity in Bonnie and Clyde?
Thanks for the help!
Totally appropriate. No nudity, but Jeremy Jordan does get shirtless quite a bit.

No real nudity- Clyde has his shirt off once (maybe twice), and you see Bonnie in her nightdress/bra and underwear once or twice as well, though there is quite a bit of kissing (nothing too crazy).
Aside from the nudity, there is A LOT of violence. I don't know if that bothers you, since here in the US no one seems to care, but this show is very bloody, and there is a lot of gunfire.
Good! I was watching the performance highlights and for some reason I thought there was a lot of nudity! But thank you guys for the help. The violence does not bother me. Haha. Once again, thank you!
What is wrong with the socialisation in our society if you are 'relieved' that the show doesn't have nudity and 'only' violence/'bloodyness'/gunfire.....
When I saw it there is a scene in which Mr Jordan jumps out of a tub and you saw his butt. You probably see butt as kids walk around with their pants around their butts. It's like underwear commercials! Oh well....
There is a lot of violence in the show, but we see so much of it in the news and on TV in general. It is almost as if we are becoming so desensitized to it that it becomes more and more the norm.
Violence is violence. As for B&C, there is also Silence the musical and other shows about violence. Will tere ever be a "Criminal Minds, the musical'? or "Timothy McVey the musical"?
Any other shows that have been based on violent behavior and/or glamourized violence?
Sweeney Todd.....and
Question. Was I the only one who saw the title of the thread and thought that the person asking the question was not a 14 year old kid themselves, but rather an overprotective parent making sure that their show selection won't warp their child's fragil little mind?
Winston - I did too, but I have no problem with him or anyone inquiring about such a topic. There are plenty of shows that I certainly would not want to take a 14 year-old to.
That being said, at worst the show is PG13, I agree with everyone else above.
I also think it's sort of disturbing that violence is more appropriate than nudity....but we don't have to go there now.
Is the bathtub nudity gone too now? There's nothing wrong with a little skin. Another reason why the La Jolla production was better.
I didn't get to see any butt at all, the tub went upstage in the dark and so did Clyde.
The one and only; just make sure you learn the lesson B&C is preaching:
Don't want to be a cowboy or movie star when you are young, cause it makes you grow up to be a lying adultress or a cold blooded robber and murderer. Other than that, enjoy!
