Book Of Mormon tour has officially closed.

Saw the next to last performance in Los Angeles.  Excellent cast.  I suspect other tours will soon announce official closings.  Heartbreaking .

As far as I know it’s just the one company that’s closed. And I believe they were closing it soon anyway?

Am I correct? Or were they already down to one company?

Closed after a 7 year run.  They had only announced dates thru August but it was going to go on.  I believe it was the only tour running in the States right now.  But someone will correct me if I am wrong.

The 1st national tour closed a few years ago in Honolulu. Currently the only touring production in the world of BoM is the UK/International tour, although of course that's on pause.

They already announced they plan to relaunch the tour next fall and that they had scheduled a hiatus. Maybe they’re scaling down or going non-eq?

That is VERY interesting. There was speculation about that here earlier in the year — or maybe it was going to be on a SETA contract?

It'll probably be SETA at first with a lot of split weeks. Maybe after a year or so, it'll switch to non-equity.
