Book of Mormon--Matt Doyle's Departure Date?

Met him briefly in Poughkeepsie last week after "Brooklyn Superhero Supply" and he said he was leaving BOM in January. With that in mind, bought tickets for the January 11 matinee and then read an interview that said end of year.

Does anyone know Matt's exact departure date? I tweeted him but he didn't respond and I thought some insider here might know. My partner's obsessed with all things Doyle at the moment and his not being there could be a dealbreaker. We tried booking earlier, but tickets right through December are slim to none on weekends (only viable option).

Interesting. I'd assumed he would leave the same time he started last year (Nic Rouleau's last show was the day after Thanksgiving).

If you really want to see him, and standing room is an option (you have the time/physical ability), I'd recommend doing that. The lines haven't been crazy.

In Poughkeepsie, he told me directly January 5th.

Saw him on OnStage this weekend. He was always hot, but when did the pecs and chest hair come from? Why you hiding it, gurl?

Thanks Serano--looks like I'll be doing some research for alternate dates and see if Telecharge might take mercy on me.

Otherwise, look for a future post offering the tickets for sale--1/11/14 2PM. Row H Right Rear Mezzanine on the aisle...$169 each.

I am deeply indebted to Joyce at Telecharge, who was able to get the box office to take back the January 11 tickets and get us seats for the January 4th matinee. Holiday prices but at this point, we didn't care.

My partner has been read the riot act in case Matt leaves earlier than the 5th or is out that performance for some reason, but we're both grateful that the change could be made.
