Has anyone ever won the Twitter lotto for seats? Curious as to where the seats are. Thanks!

I only won for the tour, so I don't know if this is true for the Broadway production, but my seats were in the rear mezz. Wasn't ideal in that house, since it was kind of a barn, but in O'Neill the seats are all pretty great.

When a friend won on Broadway, her seats were in the middle of the mezz. When another friend won on Broadway, she was in the second row. Yet another friend who won in Philly said her seats were kind of far (though I'm not sure what "far" meant). Who knows what their logic is?!

Philly was where I won, and far is a pretty accurate description. During group scenes, especially with the Mormon boys, it was difficult to tell exactly who was speaking. But that's because the Forrest Theatre is needlessly massive.

Thanks everyone. I won for tomorrow night. I've never seen the show before and haven't been in this theater since Spring Awakening.

Congrats! I've sat in every section; you'll be fine wherever they put you.

I won when the tour was in Louisville and they were premium orchestra seats - row H, dead center.

The Forrest Theatre is needlessly massive.

I disagree, I felt like the show fit nicely into the Forrest whereas if it had been in the Academy of Music it would have been swallowed alive. It irks me that shows of smaller nature like Once, Spring Awakening, next to normal among others have had to play to a barn like the Academy of Music and not gone to the Merriam or The Forrest.

I sat all over the Forrest during Mormon's run and never felt like I was too far away, which is a problem I've had numerous times at the Academy of Music. But, back to the topic at hand - I've had friends win the Twitter lotto for both the tour (in Philly) and on Broadway and the locations have varied. The one friend I know who won in Philly ended up in the rear mezz, but I've had friends win on Broadway and get front row, so it depends.

I won on Broadway quite a while back and my seats were about 6th row far right orchestra. Good seats, barely missed anything.

I saw Mormon at the Forrest from both the mezz and front row lotto. Felt like an airplane hangar.

Picked up my tickets earlier today. First row center aisle seats. I'm amazed. Can't wait to see this finally!

I won their twitter lottery for tomorrow, but the email just said I had to pick up between 10 and 4, which is not a possibility due to work (I am surprised any one except for a tourist would be able to do this). Has anyone had an experience going after the dedicated time?

Maybe have a friend pick up your tickets? Or sell them?

I work in midtown, but I'd have to run to the O'Neill to pick up tickets this way. Which I have done. Good luck!

Tourists or perhaps people who get lunch hours. They probably want to get this out of the way before the evening when the box office will be busy with people buying full priced tickets. I can't really say I blame them.

Wish I could but the Twitter lottery is basically just like their in person lotto. You only give them your name then must show a matching ID in person in order to buy them. Swung by yesterday and they said that they have made exceptions in the past if the twitter team reaches out. Contacted the twitter team and they had no idea what I was talking about. I'm a teacher and I am going to try and run there during my 45 minute lunch break. Wish me luck!
