Curtain calls. I don't think I could be convinced they are ever not needed. While I agree they need to be carefully considered - they are almost MORE needed when looking at a tragedy/serious story. They bridge the audience from the intensity back to the real world, which is needed.
I disagree that a company bow is "good enough", but, of course, that is up to you.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
