It's not so much if the show is selling or not, it's a promotion to bring new and returning patrons to the Helen Hayes. And it looks like it gives the show a bit of a boost on a night that might not be selling as well as others during the winter.

So.. why is there no girls night? Isn't that discrimination? Do they actually not allow women in the theater? Is this acceptable? I demand a free cocktail? (BTW a real marketer would have called it a free COCKtail )

and from my one and only experience at Xanadu they should also have a "middle-aged moms" night. Holy, Jersey. The post-menopausal woman next to me could not get enough of Cheyenne. I thought I was watching the thunder from down under.

Well - I was there last week and "Boys Night" meant Cheyenne & some of the cast came out for cocktails & mixed & mingled with the guys (and gals) at The Ritz
They were all so warm & welcoming. Here's some pics...

Damn, this sounds so much fun ! I wish they had announced it sooner ! I got Xanadu tix for my first Saturday in NYC and the next two Wednesdays I'll be in town, are already booked with other shows !
