...?
Obviously not a very useful pet peeve.
It should be "seize", but I guess your closer, since SW's spelling wasn't even a real word.
Did you see what I did their?
And again!
God, I'm on fire.

Your too cool for school.
Haha.
It's an okay pet peeve, but I wouldn't force it on others who you barely even know, cause like, who really cares? Their gonna do what they want.
*feels clever*
I basically just wrote that out of boardom, and annoyance.
Anyways, I should be receiving a review from two people who were there, and aren't on this board.

Sorry, but I loved her.
Heres my review of the show:
Sixth time seeing it today. The show is in fine shape, the ensemble is more energetic than ever and they are really putting everything theyve got into their performances as a group and as an individual.
At Wicked Day, Megan was standing outside signing stuff before the show so I asked her where Shoshana was and she said she 'wasn't feeling so well' and wasn't going to perform. Shocked (since she's missed only 2 other performances I believe), I asked if Saycon was going on. She said no. Even more shocked, I asked her who would be playing Elphaba and she said "Brandi, Saycon's understudy". I was so thrilled and felt so honored to be seeing Brandi's first performance.
Brandi: What started out as a somewhat over the top and shakey performance turned out to be incredibly rapturous and truly phenomenal. While her acting is somewhat cartoonish and one dimensional, her singing cannot be put into words. Her DEFYING GRAVITY had my friends in tears. It was so moving, so deeply heartfelt and above all, so powerful. Besides Opening Night, this was the best Defying Gravity and possibly *besides Idina* the best Elphaba I've ever seen. She just seemed to be pulling these notes out of the air that just left you with a wide open mouth. Her vocal strength is amazing and her performance hypnotizing. No Good Deed was wonderful, The Wizard and I a bit timid at first but very strong towards the end, and her I'm Not That Girl beautiful and heart-wrenching. She's giving a performance that is sublime, phenomenal, wildy entertaining, and truly incredible. She's a great, great Elphaba.
Megan: Wow. Again, she was wonderful. She was a wonderful G(a)linda. Her singing was breathtaking and her acting was hysterical, adorable, high-energy, and totally fresh and new. Popular was a standout yet again as she found humor in places J.La and Kristin never even looked. I enjoyed seeing this; her twisting the part to find new places to add a certain ad-lib or a heart-felt or hysterical facial expression. She played Glinda with a totally new facade and aura about her while still staying true to the character that was written. She was wonderful and definitley cannot be missed.
Ben: The Wizard has never been a standout role until now. He makes the part funny, multi-layered, complicated, and totally intriguing to watch. Its a feat of a performance. His singing is wonderful, I wish he danced a bit more, but when he did I was in theater geek heaven. He's great.
Rue: She irked me from the second she came onto the stage, but it was interesting because by time the show was over, I kinda liked her performance. She mumbles the lines and is basically giving a level of line delivery that can be done by any person who has drank a little too much champagne at a Christmas party. She speaks what are supposed to be her singing lines and it's a bit hard to understand her. My friends didnt like her because they couldnt understand her, especially during the "I hope youll prove me wrong" line which is of significance by the end. While she irritated me throughout, she still did manage to do what she's being payed to do. Entertain.
David: He's just miscast. Thats the problem here. He does have a good singing voice and good acting skills but Fiyero just isn't for him. The notes were not written for his vocal abilities to tackle, lets just say that. For his mediocre performance, I dont full blame him because hes doing the best he can in a part that isn't for him at all.
If you want to know how anyone else was, just ask :)
The audience today was a bit unenthusiastic, which was surprising. They didnt clap at Megan's entrance and did a little at Brandi's (which upset me---I mean, cmon people it's her first performance give her some support). They went wild for the cast at the end (standing ovation from the beginning) and loved Defying Gravity, For Good, and Popular. They were fine, but a bit unenthusiastic.
All in all, the show is in fine shape. The ensemble is really holding it together and while a few cast members are somewhat misplaced, the show is still strong.
Congratulations on two amazing years and long live WICKED!
I really loved Brandi's performance. I dunno...

Wickedrocks, Shoshana has a VERY good attendance record, but she has missed more than two shows lol I think she has missed... 15. Yeah, because Saycon had gone on 12 times (now 13) and Brandi went on twice so yeah.. That's still an awesome attendance record, but just wanted to let you know in case you were interested..
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Posted: 10/30/05 at 10:54pmShoshana has been out sick a few times so I'd say it's around 10-15 times. Not too bad considering she never takes the one or two week vacations like Idina used to.

"While her acting is somewhat cartoonish and one dimensional, her singing cannot be put into words."
And yet, words followed. Many many words.

the thread was deleted because those were unauthorized pictures and as the mods have stated time and time again that's a big NO-NO around here.
also requesting "boots" of performances is a big NO-NO so i suggest you guys refrain from discussing or asking for tha kind of stuff on here because then this thread will get deleted as well.

Yeah, curtain call pictures are just as frowned upon as everything else.
They were fun, but not so legal.
