Gvendo misses the point, Miss Pennywise nails it.

Where was this article? I didn't see it in the Friday Times Arts Section -- was it buried elswhere in Friday's issue or are we talking about another date?

IIRC, this isn't even the first time the Times has had its little mind blown by the fact that Jackman can (gasp!) act different sorts of roles. I seem to remember a story about him around the time Australia came out that talked about how surely that girly musical theater stuff was holding him back from true movie stardom. Which...gah. It was the musical theater stuff that got him enough notice to play Wolverine in the first place.
The funniest part about this whole thing is that he actually IS gay.
Jordan, I know he's very gay in my head -- but in real life?
I'm sure Jordan was just intending to be funny, and that Namo was being an ass as usual, but again, there is no one who hasn't reported on this. Brantley seemed to be doing his own spin on the subject, albeit in a rather ham-handed way. Jackman's sexuality, as I understand it, is an open secret, kind of like John Travolta, Tom Cruise, and Eddie Murphy.
May I respectfully request that we not compare the creepy fawnings of Mr. Brantley to the kiddie-f*cking ways of Mr. Sandusky? Cause comparing a grown man's obsession with another grown man is really different than raping a boy. Know what I'm saying?
This is way more 'Chuck and Buck,' anyway.
And perhaps we can make a fun In My Life reference when speaking of this:
'Chuck! Buck! F*CK!'
Brantley should concentrate on what he does best which is writing reviews that are opaque and meander. He should continue to hone those skills which set him apart and enable him to fill three pages that defy interpretation thus creating the mixed up to positive and mixed up to negative review.
The word "sandusky" -- not capitalized -- does not mean "Sandusky" the person. It's simply an adjective that describes an extreme kind of creepiness that has not yet been coined.
