Hmm, I haven't followed this show at all yet. So, the consensus is don't run out to see it this week?!
I mean, I love the Capote book and the film, but that doesn't really mean this is good, of course.

Fans of the book (including Capote himself) thought the movie a travesty. Holly was trailer trash trying to be fancy; Audrey Hepburn was way too elegant for the character. Capote wanted Marilyn Monroe for Holly. This show (I didn't see it) supposedly was faithful to the book. A good idea, too bad it didn't come together.
