Yeah, I knew I'd get flak for that. :)
First I had hunk, and I knew that wasn't quite right. (Though I do find him hunky.)

Regardless, he doesn't strike me as the kind of twink type that East German soldier would have wanted to turn into a girl to marry.

Firstly - I wanna know if, when they record the cast album, they will invite us common folk to come and sing on the track for Wig in a Box?

Putting that aside, NPH has the same comedic timing and dry delivery that Mitchell gave Hedwig onstage. I think he's perfect in that aspect. It'll be interesting to see how he portrays femininity.

I ADORED MICHAEL'S TAKE ON HEDWIG!!! Now I am sure these gerbronies who saw him as Sweeney on the Tonys will assure us he had to have been ALL WRONG FOR HEDWIG.

I actually heard the word as "jerblony" or "gerblony" years ago. But then Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson codified it as "gerbrony." As in, "It doesn't MATTER what you think! Gerbrony!"

That's why I think it works perfectly for the cray-crays in this thread.

Among us "hed heads", there was always a debate over who was the best Hedwig after JCM. There were two major factions - those who said Cerveris and those who said Cahoon. I was on the Cerveris side.

Even JCM thought Michael sang the score better than he himself did.

Once again, I find it hysterical that if someone doesn't think the casting is appropriate, they're labeled as a "cray cray."

I agree with this statement, but in the sense of people being lambasted for not loving NPH. No one has spewed any vitriol towards him, they've just expressed disinterest in this casting.

Why are they labeled crazy for not following the fold?
