Isn't tomorrow supposed to be 'the big day' where SOMETHING is made public re: the show's future?
LimelightMike, Perhaps you're confusing REBECCA with the Romney campaign?
Well, there's this.

I guess we'll see....
The dead guy died of Malaria.
That would have been my first clue.
I simply cannot DEAL with this anymore.
Can I get my refund now?
Charles Busch or perhaps Terrence McNally should obtain the rights to THIS story.
^nice one egghumor. This story is getting more and more bizarre by the hour! Poor cast and crew! Get out while you can is all I can say!

Earlier post brought up the great producers of the old days. Men like David Merrick, Kermit Bloomgarden, Arnold Saint-Subber, Robert Fryer, Harold Prince (before he started directing) etc. had Rolodexes (anyone remember Rolodexes?) filled with names of wealthy investors (and the little old ladies so memorably depicted in THE PRODUCERS) who they would call up and get checks from. Those days are gone. And these producers never put a dime of their own money into the show. Now anyone who makes a small investment in a show gets producer credit. Did you ever wonder why when a play or musical wins a Tony Award these days, two dozen people run up to the stage? Updated On: 9/25/12 at 07:55 AM

THIS IS totally true ...... say anything you would like .... this show is WONDERFUL also, ..that is all I will say ......
I don't know - I've seen the shots and listened to the clips and this show looks and sounds like the kind of turd only a deluded yet enthusiastic fool would try to produce.
The grand musical that took Helsinki by storm! Can anyone tell me if Mrs. Danvers has a big song obsessing about a particular dead woman's undergarments?
^It played well in Vienna, but in Stuttgart it's been struggling since it opened last December. When I saw it back in March, there were 15!! people in the Mezzanine! And that was at a Saturday matinee performance. Since then, tickets in the Mezzanine and Balcony are not being sold. I really enjoyed the show though. Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone involved, that'll work out all right in the end...
Yeah, Stuttgart can be as cold and heartless as New Haven, or Detroit!
Well I hope Rebecca doesn't go Kaput in Strutgart.
Hope they find their 4.5 million.
