Hi All,
First, hopefully this is allowed, and if not feel free to remove! I would love your help in collecting data for a work project. I essentially want to see the full spectrum of Broadway Food and Beverage pricing. I'm curious to see how things have changed in recent years with inflation and general price increases across the board. Feel free to post screenshots of the bar menus as you attend the theater this weekend and into next week! I need to submit my findings by end of day Friday 1/26. I would love a large sample size, and I can only get into so many shows. Whatever you can provide is greatly appreciated, even ifs its simply, "my 5oz Pinot Grigio was $15 at Hamilton"
- Wine, Beer, Liquor, Cocktails, Soft Drinks, Snacks (both sweet and savory) -
I would also accept Off-Broadway venues, Midtown Manhattan restaurants/bars/music spaces, and large scale sevent paces in Brooklyn! (Think Barclay's)
You can salso DM me if you prefer not to post in the thread. Thanks in advance everyone!
I think food/bev pricing are determined by the vendors the theater group owner uses and not by the production. If that’s the case, you may be better off contacting the vendor the theater group (Shubert/Nederlander/Jujamcyn) uses and get the prices directly from them. You may notice all Shubert houses to have the same food/bev prices; all Nederlander houses to have the same food/bev prices, and all Jujamcyn houses to have the same food/bev prices.
I know some of them (Jujamcyn and Shubert?) you get a $5 discount for a second drink if you bring the same cup. I believe Nederlander houses don’t follow this rule but I may be wrong.

This. The productions have nothing to do with the bar.

Does Jujamcyn still do this? I know they had stopped after the pandemic, but I haven't been recently enough to know. The Shuberts definitely do. And it didn't have to be a cup from that performance, just another Shubert house. Also, you receive soda refills for free at Shubert houses.
