Posted: 6/22/10 at 1:26pmI was there on Sunday, but for the life of me can't remember the Electric Company number. Can someone please remind me of the premise? Thanks.

Posted: 6/22/10 at 1:38pmIt was the one with the live vocals by Alysha Umphres... black costumes with blue detailing and the entire cast was stripping. It was the slow contemporary dance.

Posted: 6/22/10 at 1:47pmThanks, ElphabaRose. I do remember Alysha singing and feel bad I don't remember the dance, especially since I had sponsored one of the dancers in that number.

It was the least memorable number, with an odd premise: all the electricity went off, but Alysha sang the hell out of Journey's "Lights."

Posted: 6/22/10 at 4:04pmYes, Sebastian LaCause. Then again, he's a man, not a boy!

Tulita, though he might have been the only one!! LOL
I know Matt Zarley was there (they announced his name before the rotation), but I'm not sure if he performed.

Posted: 6/22/10 at 5:13pmSeeing pictures of Jerry Mitchell wearing the tribal head dress and loincloth he wore as ‘The Indian of The Dawn’ in The Will Rogers Follies got me to try out my YouTube searching skills for any video of his original TWRF performance with no luck. Does video of that performance exist anywhere accessible?

There were five hairy chests, Tulita--an increase, I believe, over last year's three.
In addition to Sebastian La Cause, there was the sexy and adorable Matthew Skrincosky, who was the lead in the Waterworks number:
And the Go to Jail number featured Michael Blatt and South Pacific's Greg Roderick:
I spotted was one other, but I can't find him.

Posted: 6/22/10 at 6:30pmOkay call me a prude even though I'm all for a good cause. BUT, the pictures of the "waterworks" number were somewhat disturbing to me. I mean, these pictures are now are posted all over the internet, which for some who view them, give a distorted view of the Broadway community. These Bares revues seem to get more distasteful and vulgar that it's no wonder the Broadway theatre is in the shape it's in. I can just imagine the creative minds sitting at the table conceptualizing this number. I'm sure the "boys" doing the "tinkling" are proud to show their parents those pictures. Alas, I'll most likely get hammered by the Boys Club of this chat, but it's just my observation and opinion. It's nice they raised such a good amount for BCEFA. I would just prefer a little more taste and class in the proceedings.

Posted: 6/22/10 at 8:04pmYou're being prude CukorLover. It's a charity strip. They have fun doing it so what's the problem? Do you show your parents pictures of you having sex?

Just wondering,
Do any of you out there still have that link that took you directly to those background pictures from the "Broadway Bares" website?
edit: OK, nevermind. had to go all way back to 5/20 in the archives to find it, but I got it now.
