So who got Broadway related gifts? I got the Thorougly Modern Millie, Spamalot, and Curtains OBCR. And i'm sad TMM closed because the music is amazing. Anyways I also got the Jersey Boys book and Curtains and Mary Poppins tickets :)
Hey Kelly2- Whatcha think about the playbill yearbook? I got one too... Its too bulky and did not have much info...that I already did not know...Its the PLAYBILL they handout to every show....with cast photos..mostly...though I was glad I saw Linda (Helen Hayes ) Matt ( Schoenfield) and John (Walter Kerr) pics- that was the highlight bec. I know these guys......
I might just give mine away.... I love Broadway Theater's book better with pictures of theater's architecture & history ... this one did not do much for me

My mom made me this really cute Patti LuPone plaque for my wall... it has my Gypsy playbill (signed), Sweeney Todd playbill (signed), Patti's headshot, and the CD slip for 'The Lady With the Torch'. It's awesome!
I got tickets to RENT, JCS, Jersey Boys, Avenue Q, and Sweeney Todd tours coming to Chicago!
CD wise, I got A Little Night Music (1987 Studio Cast), 110 in the Shade Revival Cast, Lovemusik, The Roar of the Greasepaint the smell of the crowd (OBC), Pacific Overtures, Altar Boyz, and my mom also got me Liz and Ann Hampton Callaway's show Sibling Revelry
DVD- I got Show Business the Road to Broadway, Elaine Stritch at Liberty, and the Stephen Sondheim Collection (which has Into the Woods, Passion, Sunday in the Park, Follies, Sweeney Todd, and Sondheim Celebration) It was a very good year
I got the Grey Gardens libretto, The Beales of Grey Gardens on DVD, the Playbill Yearbook, the Gypsy OBCR with Ethel Merman, the novel Ragtime, the Ragtime score (one of the toughest I've seen), the Gypsy score, the 1962 Gypsy movie, a Playbill beachmat, this like jillion piece Playbill puzzle, an album for all my playbills, a Spring Awakening messenger bag, the Grimmerie, and my mom made me a Spring Awakening collage that I love so much. Oh, and Speech and Debate tickets. And that was just from my parents.

So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?
