The ability to "browse" went out the window a few years ago. Good luck getting through the crowds to get near a table/booth.
I realized that now when I re-read my post. However, when I first arrived, I got there within the first hour of it starting and not many people where there. I'd say a reasonable number, not too much, not too little. But as the day went on, more and more people started to show up.

Last year I got smacked by a woman in a wheelchair because I asked her if she had big breasts.
Maybe we can get CD demos of another upcoming turkey this year

You mean that incoming Twyla Tharp show that seems to have "Turkey" written all over it?

EDIT: I may be going to the 20th Annual Broadway Flea Market this year. I am not yet sure, though. My sister has a modelling shoot either on the weekend of the 24th, or on the 30th. I am pumped. I hope I shall be able to go to this.

What I meant to say was, I am not able to find any more mistakes in my sentence. Period.

I am planning on attending the Broadway Flea Market.
I'm very exicted being this will be first time in attendance, but I wanted to go last year, but couldnt attend.
Are the items VERY expensive or slighlty sensible?

To answer an earlier post, the flea market has every single thing you can think of and more.

Does each show have a booth? And do they sell props and costumes?
I sure hope THE WEDDING SINGER has a booth...
It really depends, Clumsy. Some items are depressingly out of my price range (which really doesn't take much), but there are definitely deals to be found. Last year's big find for me was a signed copy of The Pillowman for $10 (a steal, considering it would be $13+ tax if I bought it at Barnes and Noble)!

I know they sell closed show items.
Hopefully, ALL SHOOK UP will have some items floating around and I want a can of ULTRA CLUTCH from HAIRSPRAY.
I once got a brand new double CD of Metropolis for $ 5

bwayondabrain - most shows have a booth. I'm almost certain Wedding Singer will have one. The more desirable shows tend to get the more desirable locations. Wicked is right in Shubert Alley, next to Spamalot. They sell everything from props (Wicked sold corn stalks from the cornfield scene; ole bamboo sticks from Chitty) to opening night gifts (Spamalot was selling a terrycloth bathrobe.) Spelling Bee had name/number boards. All shows have signed posters, Playbills, photos, etc.
All Shook Up last year sold nail polish and sampler cds, among other things. Hairspray sells Ultra Clutch yearly.
Rent sells used candles....
Really anything you can think of. A lot is expensive (Wicked posters go for upwards of $100), but a great amount is cheap, especially as the day goes on. Whatever's left over by the end of the day goes down in price to about $1 (knicknacks like Woman in White calendars, not signed memoriabilia).
Triton has a table with discount framing, Sh-k-boom has a table for signings with their artists, etc.

Thank you very much, YankeeFan.
I really hope I can go to this now!

It's not like it's closed before 10. It's in a public area, so you can get there before and browse.

That is so cool!
I really hope I am able to go that weekend!!!
But I can only go to New York if I get good grades in school, so I better go do some studying!
Talk to you all later!
:)
I'm excited. This will be my first year attending. All the shoving wrestling people for stuff should be fun.

Over the years I've gotten so much stuff, I'm out of room. But usually, posters, t shirts, an occasional show jacket, DVDs, CDs, and an occasional novelty item. I got a Phantom show jacket once for $100. Last year, Entertainment Weekly had a booth with tons of TV show DVDs (the box sets). They were pretty cheap, still in the celophane and most hadn't even been released yet (they were reviewers copies). I've only won one thing at the auction. Dinner with Wayne Brady, house seats to Chicago, a signed poster and a backstage tour. It cost me a fortune because I got into a bidding war but it was worth it. The dinner was 2 days before my birthday and when we decided to go to the restaurant early because we were sick of walking around, Wayne was already there waiting. 2 other cast members of Chicago joined us (Michelle DeJean and Bernard Dotson) and I still stay in contact with Wayne today. I've never bid on anything else but I've heard stories that people bid on the walk on roles for tv shows, spend nearly $10,000 and then discover when it's aired that they were edited out.
I bought out everything from ASU last year.
