I don't know what figures Bryan's looking at. Brooklyn at 72.7 % did better than Good Vibrations at 70.4% which was the lowest grossing musical.

Posted: 3/28/05 at 11:24pmNo, actually, Good Vibrations grossed $356,309 compared to $288,537 for Brooklyn. Good Vibrations also has a higher average ticket price ($58.74) than Brooklyn ($47.53). Really, with a difference of 2.3% in their attendance percentage, it really doesn't matter, since they attracted almost the exact same amount of people (6,066 people saw Good Vibrations, 6,070 saw Brooklyn) in similarly sized theatres (1,077 at the Eugene O'Neill and 1,044 at the Plymouth) but the audience at Good Vibrations paid more to be there.

What a week. I just wish more people would go to see the gem that is Steel Magnolias.
Happy for BKLYN,
Good Vibrations (even though its terrible),
Rent (hangin' in there),
and especially
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (looks like a Broadway sleeper hit...can't wait to see it)

From someone who remembers when Rent was stuck barely hitting 300K, numbers in the 500K range are amazing!
A 10% jump for Good Vibes is encouraging too.
I hope the plays pick up business. Doubt IS doing well, but should be doing better since it is AMAZING. Go see it!
