GOD DAMN IT, PEOPLE ARE GIVING THIS SHOW A STANDING OVATION EVERY 5 MINUTES!!!

y'know, i don't doubt this because they have obviously figured out that if they stand aand applaud that the awful sounds coming from the stage will cease, if only for a few brief moments. i'm surprised they have not had to cancel performances on account of unceasing ovations.

robbie and mr. matt, actually yes I'm fairly new to this forum, which I suppose is a crime. I'm not new to Broadway and theatre forums, in general, though, nor to theatre itself. I don't claim to be any kind of expert but I do see most shows as I'm lucky enough to go to school in the city. Prior to that, I visited the city on a regular basis with my family and have seen most shows which have been on in the past ten years. Like I said, I thought Brooklyn was a very flawed show, with some incredible performers. I understand that some of you may enjoy your little battles with tiny toon but it's a little childish, no? I have to say that no one has actually confirmed having seen the show since I posed the question earlier. Any takers?

I don't think many of them saw the show. And thats why everybody should not listen to their opinion about the show itself.

I am VERY happy for Eden and the cast... since day one, when I saw this garbage, I said that I wanted the show to have a long run.. however, the shilling for this show (basically from one person) has reached epic proportions. But, yes... I am happy for the cast... they are doing the best that they can with a book and score that could have been written for the Teletubbies.

so what you are saying with that inane comment is that if you like a show, regardless of theater experience, you can praise/shill/whatever it till kingdom come... but it requires a) starring in, b) writing, c) producing, d) conducting, e) directing or all of the above in order to have the opinion that a show is crap... is that what you're saying?

what are your credentials and how do they qualify your opinions on a show?
