Here are some highlights:
BROOKLYN (+$57,623)
CHICAGO (-$67,658 )
GOOD VIBRATIONS (-$54,489)
ALL SHOOK UP - Avarage Price was $42!! (?!?!)
But filled the Palace to a very nice number (83.9%)
Good Vibrations cant hold on with that number!
Brooklyn just about at break even (300,000) which is great!
Little Women at 481,000 is very good for this horrible month because its break even is only 375,000!

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Those aren't all the highlights! SPAMALOT is up $127,994!
DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS, HAIRSPRAY, THE LION KING, and FIDDLER ON THE ROOF made decent jumps as well!
is there a link, i want to see the rest?

thats good for bklyn, if they can hold out 1 more month they'll be fine... ihope
Benzy, BKLYN's weeklyn nut is $275,000
Some even reported it's as low as $250,000
I was a part of Brooklyn's increase!
...from all the previous attendance percentages, I was VERY suprised when I went on Friday...the theatre was almost full!

"the theatre was almost full!"
...papering...
oooh Brooklyn... personally i thought it was nice fluff that kept me watching but nothing deep or clever.
Anyways- good to see shows up, that makes me happy
well yeah, but they were still almost full, no matter how they got people there!

Someone close with the producer said it was def. 300,000 but the lower the better!! :)
GOOD VIBRATIONS should quite while they're ahead.
after going up nearly $100,000 the previous week, it's sad to see rent go down nearly 50K
...the cast right now is very very talented and nice!

Will Democracy make it until the Tony Awards ?
how did you get your first row seats? Did you enjoy BKLYN?
Well the low ticket rate at ALL SHOOK UP should always be expected. Selling an entire MEZ in a very large theatre for only $19 some a ticket, its avg ticket price will NEVER jump all that high.
Wonderful jumps by most deserved shows(DRS, HAIRSPRAY, FIDDLER, LION KING, SPAM, LITTLE WOMEN, PRODUCERS, BKLYN) with others staying very steady (LA CAGE, BROOKLYN BOY) but some surprises among CHICAGO, DEMOCRACY, & RENT! CHICAGO is coming to the end of its line I feel, and if the Movie doesnt help bolster RENT it wont be far behind. A talky play without its leading man is a hard sell in the winter months.
And folks, HOW IN THE HELL is GOOD VIBRATIONS still existing? With those anemic Box Office Totals for such a large cast - I honestly wouldnt be surprised if its gone by Easter.

Chicago is coming to the end of its line????? With attendance at 93.3% and a $528K gross (after nearly being soldout last week at 98.6% and a nearly $600K gross -- those are HUGE numbers)? In FEBRUARY???? Based on those numbers, I'd give it another couple of years, at least.
And RENT was at 84.5% this week (and 94.2% last week). Those are OUTSTANDING numbers for any show in February, especially one that's been running for over 8 years.
I got my front row seat from the student rush. It was an incredible seat, esp. for an incredible price ($26)

LaCageAuxFollesFan2: I believe they are selling the balcony at $19, not Mezz (which is much bigger).

Only the balcony (not the mezzanine) at All Shook Up is $19.55.
The low average is probably because they offered discount tickets for the previews. I got one of those colorful flyers in the mail offering tickets for $60 & $65 (if purchased by Jan 15). (For performances from February through most of April.)
Good Vibrations probably sold some tickets before the reviews came out, so the effects weren't noticed immediately. (I think someone on NY1's On Stage mentioned a week ago that Good Vibrations hadn't lost money any week up to that point. Which explains why they had no intention of closing. They shouldn't, really, because it's probably worth seeing if anyone finds the show fun. In which case, word of mouth will keep it open. I mean, once they open, they might as well give it chance, even if it doesn't appear to have much of one.)
