It's being HIGHLY, HIGHLY papered.
PS: I think it should be noted how well GUYS AND DOLLS did this week. Good for them for sticking it out through the terrible reviews; it looks like it has a chance of paying off. I'm sure it'll do well in the summer months.

Guys and Dolls is a beloved and recognizable commodity with two recognizable names in the cast. I'd be surprised (regardless of the reviews) if it weren't doing well.
A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

Well, considering the fact that producers apparently had a meeting to discuss the possibility of closing it after the crappy reviews came out, I think it's worth recognizing that it's doing well.

If I didn't know better I'd swear Hugh Jackman's cloned himself and he and his clones have joined the casts of Chicago, Guys and Dolls, Shrek, and Phantom. It's great seeing them all do so well. (And bravo Billy Elliot!)

As much as I love the show, how is August not closed yet?

Maybe August's producers think they'll get a big bump when Phylicia Rashad joins the cast? If numbers don't go up when she joins, I'm sure it'll close fairly quickly.

<< What is ROA's approx. weekly nut? It can't be doing that well with an average ticket of $50 >>
Well, according to Constantine, (saw a clip during "On Stage") their weekly nut is very low, and the cast is working for "basically nothing". (would love to know what "basically nothing" is? (especially during a recession when so many people are out of work)

Man did Shrek and Chicago have a jump.
I'm glad to see HAIR doing well.
9 to 5 is off to a good start with attendance.
I'm so happy that Heights can stay up with good numbers.

I'm a professional. Whenever something goes wrong on stage, I know how to handle it so no one ever remembers. I flash my %#$&.
"Jayne just sat there while Gina flailed around the stage like an idiot."

We also can't forget the promotion for 9 to 5... 2 tickets for $95 that they had when they started selling tickets. That, along with the current 'sales,' definitely brought the average price down.
Having been in NYC last week, I can vouch for the fact that it was insane and getting tickets was tough. Everything I saw was packed.

Wow. All three Disney shows had a huge jump. It's good to see a play like God of Carnage have such great numbers. Mary Stuart is starting to look like it won't make its entire run. two crappy weeks for them.

Fortunately I had already purchased my tickets for last week and yes it was pretty crazy. I often like to walk by the TKTS booth to see what's available and I have never seen so few offerings there.

Testing: basically nothing is scale ($1555 or thereabouts) minus union fees, agent/manager/publicist fees.
wdwfreak, a show like MARY STUART isn't ever going to be as popular as your beloved Disney shows.

Thanks, Yankee...
So, would anyone verture to guess what Constantine and/or Amy are pulling in? This is per week, correct?
