Had they closed in March like they planned, they would’ve probably been able to leave on a high and then something else could’ve taken the theatre for April. But they got greedy and now they’re trying to remain in a crowded field that includes two Pulitzer Prize winners (Fat Ham and Cost of Living).

First of all. there are 100% repeat customers for this show, but regardless no producer is banking on making bank off of repeat attendants. But its another wild comment re producers greed here: does it occur to you that the team behind this want as many people to see this as possible, and took a financial risk? Why is this a bad thing?

What's interesting to me about Leopoldstadt is how quickly it started doing poorly with the addition of new cast members, which is odd because it wasn't that a bunch of box office stars left or something. But then, they left after a 6-month contract. So, maybe it had more to do with 6 months being how strong their business was.

I, for one, hope they're able to finish their run.
