Kinky got much better reviews than Priscilla. I will interested to see how it continues to do. Im not sure what is selling it-Cyndi, the fact that its touted as a feel good show, or something else.

"The sexual energy between the mother and son really concerns me!"-random woman behind me at Next to Normal "I want to meet him after and bang him!"-random woman who exposed her breasts at Rock of Ages, referring to James Carpinello

there's basically 9 shows right now selling out their theaters. Three long running shows - The Lion King, Wicked & Book of Mormon; along with six news shows - Matilda, Motown, Kinky Boots, Pippin, I'll Eat You Last & Lucky Guy. I see Jekyll & Hyde posting a closing notice once the Tony nominations come out(due to their lack of any). I'm hoping Once continues to pull in solid numbers this summer despite all the competition.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Don't forget Jekyll isn't opening to a cold opening, money-wise. It's also being produced by the Nederlander's as their 100th Anniversary production (LOL)... But an extension at this point is not happening (I believe Deborah Cox has already begun planning concerts/etc in early August).
