Frogs is right. Mark_E, I think you forgot to account for the fact that Sister Act only had 7 performances last week, not 8.

I wonder how long that section of the Broadway will be curtained off. It seems like that's for the better, though, since all reports of sightlines from back there have been bad. Hoping I end up with better seats for my group when I go in a week.

Ooo my bad!! Still I'm surprised they are allowed to report the grosses like that when they clearly aren't filling the theatre that much. It's not like they are having that many unsold seats through choice.

Allowed?

I'm guessing that the tickets that are being sectioned off are simply NOT for sale. It's a choice. If they aren't available for sale, they aren't reporting anything incorrectly.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Technically, I guess that's true. But the fact remains that they really aren't selling at 93% of the theater's capacity. And we all know that if they were selling out and had more demand, those seats would be open.

Not really a big deal though, anyone who cares about the grosses more than just a passing interest knows to do the math.
