And another amazing week for Spider-Man! Congrats!
Also, how long do you guys see CATCH ME lasting with those numbers? Compared to MEMPHIS it seems about the same and MEMPHIS has gone on for a while now...

Posted: 8/1/11 at 11:03pmDoes anyone know Sister Act's weekly running costs? I don't understand why everyone's saying it's doing so awfully. It may not be at maximum capacity but it's still pulling in over $700,000 a week. Is it so expensive to run?
#8Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 7/31
Posted: 8/1/11 at 11:22pmI can't imagine it's too expensive. It's the same sets and everything from London. So I can't imagine it was too expensive to mount on Broadway, and it doesn't have a HUGE cast or anything.

WICKED did 120% of potential? After, what, a decade?
That just amazes me.

Posted: 8/2/11 at 1:05amLegallybroadway...not gonna lie...I'm shocked by their numbers. They will be around for a while. The real question is if when they do close...if it will be after earning a profit.

#19Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 7/31
Posted: 8/2/11 at 1:21amWicked didn't really do 120% of their potential. They raised their orchestra prices for the summer (it's now $141.25) but for some reason that's not reflected in the grosses. The Lion King also raised their orchestra prices and that change IS shown - you can see on 05/29 their potential went from $1,526,632 to $1,690,268.
