Why did NEWSIES only have five shows last week?
Is Spider-man really banking on making that much $$ during late November-early January to make up for the past few weeks (and presumably the next few weeks)?

Posted: 9/16/13 at 3:31pmSPIDER-MAN even looks to have closed off about 350 seats, and they're still losing steam in the Grosses. January looks far away...

Wow Soul Doctor clocking in under $100k, the producers need to nstart leafleting outside Yeshiva University.
The Fall is finally here.

Posted: 9/16/13 at 5:01pmSoul Doctor only played 7 shows. So, it still made about what it does usually. Granted, I don't know anything about it, so I can't comment on that. And I'm not defending the low grosses as it not being in danger of closing. Just stating why it was so low, even though it isn't good.

Posted: 9/16/13 at 9:16pmglad to see Once & Pippin bounce back after last week's poor grosses. Soul Doctor should be closed already. Only 15.5% gross potential. I have to wonder if First Date will try and stick around for the holidays. And Big Fish is pulling in decent numbers.

Patti Lupone FANATIC- the biggest drops occurred back in the beginning of August, with two consecutive weeks of 9% drops.
I still think they should block off the seats to reduce the capacity of the Broadway Theatre again, and then open them back up for the holiday season. Selling 8,500 seats out of 11,800 looks much better than out of 14,000.
